Here is one of my shots from my local trip this morning.
Here in the Southern part of Upstate NY colors are just starting to change.

I'm luke warm on the shot......dang pole was crooked and kinda throws the shot.
I tried to fix it in CS2 but made it worse :bash so I left it as taken.:uhoh

Probably a junk shot but I thought I'd share it.

I've got to agree, there's nothing that jumps out and grabs me either. It's "nice," and a record that you were there, but not a whole lot else.

The second image you posted, though, of the single leaf - that's an eye-grabber. I'd like to see the very tip of the leaf not clipped off but otherwise it's very good - striking colors and having the green leaves behind helps with the contrast. I think if it was alone against the sky it wouldn't have been as effective.

15524779-Ti.gif The 1st shot is just to share.
2nd one I shoulda framed a bit better but that was the best I could do. Due to the bright sun it woulda been blown out if I'd have backed off the zoom. :(:
