Practicing on my Family (C&C)

I talked my mom and dad and my wife into doing a "practice" photoshoot the last weekend we were over at their place.. I'd love some C&C. This was also the first shoot I've done completely shooting Manual.

    Oh, I love that first shot of your wife. I'd never thought about this before, but I've never seen a series like your final image done with an older couple. It's well executed.

    Images 1&3.... Do you see how much more flattering her figure is in the latter? Remember that.
    The comp in 3 might have been better if she was standing in the middle of that lane (?).
    Like the rimlighting in 4 but again, the pose doesn't serve her very well.
    Like how you used the wall in #2 but feel that you should have used more of it. There is also hand and crop issues.
    All seem to be lacking 'zip' in the colour dept (2 isn't as bad). Could be this craptop of mine though...

    All in all, not horrid and I've done worse. I think your heading in the right direction. thumb.gif
