This Little Blue Heron will soon have its adult plumage. They are really beautiful during this stage of their life.......

Crawdads, a southern tradition for dinner, is also a favorite meal for the Little Blue Heron.

Thanks for posting, Ira. I've never seen a juvenile Little Blue Heron before. Love the crawdad shot. Best, Pam

Good set of images of an excellent subject. I would have adjusted the expsoure by a third on those captures.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Very nice images Ira, I love the colours when their plumage is changing to an adult stage.
