These are from a shoot with a commercial model who wanted "J Crew" and some beauty. All outdoor work and we borrowed the dogs from whoever walked by. C&C always welcomed.

Nice ideas and production. In the first two watch out for a lady in shorts and compressing her thighs. Tends to make them larger that what they should be. They don't like that. 3 & 4 are very nice.

That's one of the more useful hints I've ever gotten and I see it NOW.

    Thanks Hack.thumb.gif

On number 3, the lighting could be improved if you had moved her totally into the shade to avoid the sunspots on her legs and face.

I find the people in the background of #4 distracting and the shadows on her face are kind of harsh. Also, you've have her in a position that is not flattering at all for her waist.

And finally, the eye makeup on the beauty shots is pretty rough and amateur looking and not really age appropriate to be honest.

Dig out your J Crew catalogs again and study the makeup and lighting and posing. All of it is a lot softer and more natural than your attempt here.

    Thanks all.
Dogwood, the makeup was her MUA. I take the blame for everything but that. Laughing.gif
