    That's correct:-), no flash!
I used a built-in one for group portraits to get some catchlights, but I could do w/o it just as easily:-)

I have been considering the 28-135 as a good all around lens. The 5th photo is a contest winner.

Appreciate the comment! Shot #5 is also of my youngest:D

I'm also getting 17-85 IS USM sometime next week (it's in the mail:-). Which one, do you think, I should leave on my 20D as "default" one? headscratch.gif

    Thanks!thumb.gif

Wow very impressive.......while I was in Ohio I attended two volleyball games a week with the Jackon Middle School Volleyball Team "Ironladies"

These kids are very good players, I was amazed at their ability, and how the older teams seem to be able to volley better than they group that is only one year behind them........one year must really make a difference in skill levels in this game.

I didn't take my camera to any of the games.....wasn't sure it was permitted, next time I will ask.

Great series on your part Nikolai........ Skippy (Australia)

    Skippy, you're correct
One year makes a huge difference. Last year they were lucky if they could serve underhand and send the ball over during the game. Now practically everybody serves upperhand, they do 3 touches most of the time, they to spikes and blocks, they dive...
I'd be interested to see if Helen want to keep this in HS next year...

    Cheers!

    Nik
