i'm playing mr. mom this week whilst my rock-goddess-wife is at john mayer tonight (beacon theater) and then front-row for u2 at the garden on saturday. :rolleyes

today, it was tae kwon do. my six-year old is really becoming quite good at it :D i wish the "gym" was a bit larger (it's in a small one-car garage). i used the 5d, 24-105L and 580ex with lightsphere II on board. for a very dark room, and tight quarters, i was happy with results. 3fps is not really fast, though, so you have to anticipate the moment. these are all 1/1 shots. i used tv mode, 1/200th sec, +1/3 fec, and ai servo focusing. i was very pleased with the focusing.

ps i love their "mantra" :D

the 5d didn't disappoint, these are right out of the camera and perfect for the family albums that my wife makes up.

enjoy (keeeee-yaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!) photography,

    Nice shots. Great mantra.

The first he's all business, the second, it looks like he's having a blast.

Love the shots, but I kinda had a photoshop itch I had to scratch...

It's just a quickie, but at least *I* think it's amusing.

I hope you do too... ne_nau.gif
