As the title states, I'm pretty pissed off here. I just paid up-front for a year's of Smug Mug... I let my trial lapse before I actally tried to upload anything. Well I kept hearing how SM was the best thing for digital photos since sliced bread, so I went ahead and purchased the full-tilt account assuming the good word was what it meant. How wrong I was! Everytime I try to upload to a new album I created, it crashes! This applies either in Internet Explorer 9 64 or 32 bit. VERY disappointed at this point!

Yep, fired off an email. Patiently waiting on a response

Now this would be a little nutty, but people *are* using the 64 bit version of Flash, correct?.

I am using the 64bit version of IE along with the "version of flash" that is rather a pain in the butt to install. If you go to their page is shows a beta (below) you have to download their version there.

Also you can check this out.

One other thing to do is check and see if by any chance you have multiple versions of flash installed. Uninstall them both - restart - then start your 64bit browser first. At that point reinstall the flash and test. =)

If you just want to get images uploaded, it's probably a lot easier to just use an HTML5 capable browser (Chrome, Safari or Firefox) and use the HTML5 uploader (which should be the default in those browsers) which doesn't use Flash and doesn't have any 64-bit complexities or known issues. Others have had difficulties getting 64 bit IE and Flash to work reliably together.

Hi. Jfriend's advice is really good - using FF or Chrome in Windows is surely the fastest, best uploading experience. But if you wish to use IE9, then be sure to launch it in 32-bit mode (from the start menu). Of course, write our Support Heroes if you want personal help we're standing by 365 days a year to help.

Yep, only config that currently works is a fully-updated Java console on 32bit IE9... Laaaame. I really was enjoying the 64 bit flavour of IE9. :(

I've used FF and Chrome, definitely not a fan of either.

If you prefer IE over FF/Chrome, then you can use 64-bit IE 99.9% of the time and just fire up FF/Chrome when you want to upload images.
