I usually try to avoid centered images, but couldn't see a
way to crop this any better.

    Yo Tony,

A while back, I posted a shot of what appears to be the exact same window. If I'm not mistaken, this scene is located near the waterfront in Darien, GA. That whole little area is quite fascinating.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

I didn't notice your image, but I haven't been following dgrin all that much
in last few months. But, yes, this image was taken in Darien. I was there
in March of 2009, but didn't get much in the way of photos. I was recently
rummaging through old shots and came across this one.

    yeah as Don said, lovely

and as Frank Herbert said in Dune (more or less) habits not only close potential doors but lock them and throw away the key!

I love the texture and the strong contrast on the colors. It sure does make a very interesting subject to look at. thumb.gifthumbthumb.gifclap.gifclapclap.gif

I think you managed it well. Really am enjoying the way you have
    treated it for presentation. thumb.gif

I like it... I think the center heaviness REALLY works well with this shot, particularly because it's not dead-center... it's higher, which gives the appearance of the upper-third and let's one get a feel for the height of the window (especially with that pole that runs up the entirety of the photo). Great job!
