I have been asked to take individual portraits for a youth swim club. Does anyone have any posing examples I could see?

Your help is much appreciated. This is boys and girls ages 8-18.

Thanks!

Not a pro at this at all, but my son has been an elite swimmer for years. I have taken and others have taken photos of him. Having learned from years of experience:

    Stay true to the sport.

One of my favorite poses is with the child at the edge of the pool (but in it) with both arms and head out of the water. Arms folded on the pool deck.

On the block ( this is particularly nice for older teens) but whatever you do do not prop their goggles on top of their head - this would not be true to the sport.

Standing near the water stairs outside of the water.

    Best of luck!
