300mm F2.8 IS

Hey there,

I have a Canon 300mm f2.8 IS that i want to sell. It comes with the trunk, Leather lens hood (But this is missing the string and keeper), A Canon EOS Lens Strap, The fiberglass lens shade, a tail cap, and the Lens.

I will say, the lens is in rough shape on the outside. The paint has started to let go. I don't have any idea why it would have done this, but you can scrape paint off with your fingernail. It definitely is not the result of hard knocks or anything. I have attached about 20 pictures. If the lens is NOT in the picture, than the picture was taken WITH the lens.

I know some people will have a real problem with the lens peeling paint, and so i am putting this at the VERY fair price of $3,700. I will ship and accept paypal, but that will cost an extra $100 for packing, shipping, and paypal fees. The serial is: 24898 and the date code (hard to read ) is UO0909 Or could be UQ0909, but i would go with the UO to be safer (older).

    Wow, i though this price would have had this lens snapped up. I am open to offers, but nothing ridiculous.

    Oh yeah, and i would put some money with this for a 1Dmk4.
