White Weevil - Myllocerus undecimpustulatus

this little fella was so cute :-D he come strolling out from under a leaf and all of the sudden he realized that he had been spotted, he froze in his tracks and not knowing what to do he laid down, I assume to play dead,, this species does not fly,, he reminded me of a puppy dog,, kinda lookes to me like a prehistoric dinosaur though too,, :-D :-D

Thanks for sharing! You make it sound like he was big (when you said a puppy dog) at 100mm how large was he? smaller than a pinky nail? eh..

I am jealous of you macro folks... I shoot sports, but probably should have taken this up instead. Very cool!

ya,, he was fairly small, about a pinky sized nail is about right
