looks like an AT&T commercial.

An "accurate" reproduction of a scene and a good photograph are often two different things.

It's a nice image and well composed. If it were mine I'd crop down from the top and up from the bottom (8x10ish) and boost the black point a tad. Looks a bit flat as is.

I agree that a 4:5 crop would look better, but if this were my kid I wouldn't be buying an 8x10 of this. I left it as-is so they can order a 4x6.

That's 'cause it ain't your kid. mwink.gif It's worth an 8x10, but you make a good point. When I post something on DGrin, I usually edit it the way I prefer it, not how I imagine someone else might use it.

Thanks. Unfortunately I sell very few 8x10s of youth sports and I wouldn't expect to sell one of this. Bottom line, the kid isn't doing anything and looks kinda bored. Actually the parent just bought a print of this today - 4x6, and she cropped out the left fielder. rolleyes1.gif

I have too many images that I consider priceless captures of other people's children that have never sold. People simply don't value photos the way we do.

I would have cropped it for forum consumption/critique, but it is just sourced from my working gallery of photos for sale.
