Having problem naming gallerys

I shoot alot of concerts.On my page i have a section on bands. in the past i havent had a problem uploading the same named band with a diffrent date. Now when i go to upload it says nickname already exist and wont let me name the same band but with a diffrent date. HELP!!

I'm not sure. I think it would help if you could give us more details, as we don't know exactly what names you're trying to enter, etc. Could you give us examples of precisely two gallery names you tried to write... especially the ones that were rejected, etc.? I just feel we can't make many guesses without more information. I did go to your site, and here's one thought I had: The nice-name can only be 30 characters long. If you have a band with a long-ish name, it could be that only the name part is showing up in the nice-name and it's not even getting far enough to add the date. So it decides you're using the same name again. Are you paying attention to how the gallery title is appearing in the Nice-name box just below that (as you're creating it)? You may have to shorten some bands' names in some way (at least in the Nice-name link) to be sure there's enough space for the date. It will tell you in red when you're going over the 30 characters.

The other possibility, something I've run into is that it's easy to accidentally create two identical galleries.... I think it's when I've hit "save" and then realized I forgot something & hit the back button to go back & edit it. It usually doesn't work; I end up with two galleries & then it's telling me that I've already used that Nice-name. Sometimes you can go into the first one & add or subtract a letter or something so that you can keep both galleries. Then later go back in & edit the Nice-names to what you really want. That's all the ideas I've got for you... Good luck!!
