Greetings.

I am a wee lost here..

I have me a fine lens - 10-20mm. Granted it's not nikon's fisheye, but it is also third the cost.

I figured, i'd venture into the CPL field with this glass. So I went to sigma's site, and read "filter size 77mm". "great", I thought, and ordered one.

So, now that I am holding in my hands the Tiffen 77mm CPL, I try to attach it to the front, just like any other filter, and... the filter is too small.

Are there different gradations of 77mm? how come it doesn't fit? It says on the rib - 77m.. I am lost.

easy. There are two 10-20mm Sigma lenses.

it IS 77mm on the variable aperture version. it is 82mm on the fixed aperture version :)

(82mm per adorama (I find it faster to find filter sizes on their site) http://www.adorama.com/SG102035NKA.html )
