upload image whitout lost image quallity

i"m perty new at this great forum, and when i see after upload and resize image (800x 1200) i lost imgage quallity and detail,
is there any way for this problem,?

    downsizing dullens the image
    its normal

    what you can do , is , apply some additional sharpening after resizing

    thanks for quick response, just high pass filter after resize? or more?

    Attachments do lose quality. It is better to link to images that are hosted on a photo sharing site, like SmugMug or Flickr. Then your images will look the same on Dgrin as on the host site. How To Post on Dgrin
