Thanks for enjoying the shroon.

I am an amateur shroon hunter and this is the first time I have seen this in real life and, by gorry, they do look like dead man's fingers. It's tough as an old shoe and inedible.

Thanks all for looking at the shroon.

These grow at the bottom of tree stumps and are difficult to see at first. My daughter in law was gardening and pointed it out to me. My grandson was wowed by it, too.

They really do look like dead man's fingers, right down to the nails.
