    Both images are striking. clap.gif I love dramatic light, and I especially like the lines in #1. If it were mine, I'd open up the shadows just a bit so that you could see a little more texture in the dark areas and I would also consider an 8x10 crop so that the shadow line terminates in the lower left corner of the frame.

    Here is #1 with Richard's suggestions. thoughts?

    I usually avoid cropping to 8x10, but in this case it works. Personally, I prefer darker shadows as in the original.

    Hmmm...I do prefer the crop, but I wouldn't have gone quite so far at lightening the shadows, I think. I prefer the mystery of the original, though perhaps there might be something mid-way. Dunno.

    I agree. This is the version I kept for myself.
