Someone just created a favorite's gallery:

I go in to the settings and find more disturbing stuff about this PRO ACCOUNT and I do not know if it is something I am doing or not doing.

In the settings I see the following that I previously turned off in one of the gallery's setting MULTIPLE GALLERY settings changes but they still come to appear:

geography: NO
gallery style: smug mug
etx. links: NO
Protected: YES
largest size: LARGE
photorank: NO
comments: NO
easy sharing: NO

So this is VERY upsetting to me.

So if the client creates a favorites folder and adds images with the above settings in opposite, they can send these images to themselves, the images are not protected, there are ext links, largest size is the original and so on.

If I do not CONSTANTLY check this site then people if they notice, can undermine my images and my sanity.

Am I seeing this right?

I'm speculating, but I believe the favorite gallery will follow similar rules as a smart gallery, and you cannot view a larger size in a smart gallery than the original gallery, even if you have it set that way. I think you're safe. thumb.gif

    yeah so they say....

I have also been instructed to IGNORE the settings on a favorites gallery and trust that the settings in the original gallery will over ride.

Packages in the favorites seem to disappear with no rhyme or reason. I went in and added a few CSS changes to ease my suffering thru hERO advice, but when I went in to double check some packages, they were gone.

There is so much stuff to remember when setting these PRO packages and events and it is a little frustrating when things appear to be less than confident for me. Of course, I am no expert on this stuff, and it could very well be user error.

No, it's not just you. SM has a lot of capability and customization. So much so that it can be very, very unstable. Between the changes SM makes and the gazillion CSS/javascript changes that can be made, you can very, very easily break things.

The settings on a lot of the default things also take some time getting used to. Some of their operation isn't as intuitive and takes some practice to get used to. I know SM like the back of my hand now, but it definitely wasn't that way starting out.
