File numbering.

Hello! :wave
I have a problme with file numbers. In to same gallery goes images what ends with 9999 and started again from 0001. How do i can upload them so that 0001 will show AFTER 9999?
In other gallery i tried to change images number as 0003 to 10003, but last taken shows first anyway.

I hope you understand what do I mean, because english is not my first language and I do not know how do explain better :dunno

You mention last taken - have you considered setting the gallery sort to "by date taken" instead of file name?

Hi there,

If you have the gallery set to sort by Filename, and the filenames aren't in sequence, that could be the trouble.

Look in the Gallery Settings > Look & Feel section > auto sort, and try setting it to Date Taken. That may help.

If not, sorting the gallery manually is another option.

Thank you! How do i could´nt got the point myself?? But in other gallery it does´nt work...There probaly I´ll try to sort out by manually.

Gallery "Class 4 130 cm" doesn't have an auto sort setting right now, did you organize them manually?

Gallery "Class 12 130 cm" is now set to sort by Date Taken, and the gallery begins at IMG_9772; is that working for you now? IMG_0005 looks to be the lowest filename, and that's now at 109 in the gallery.

You could probably edit the settings in your camera to have more digits in the filename, so that you don't run into this as often.

Yes.
, I did "Class 4 " manually and "Class 12" i sorted as Denise said.

I´ll try to edit the sttings of my camera, but as much i remember, Canon 40D gives numbers only up to 9999, then it starts from 0001.
