San Francisco in August

I have a cousin getting married up in Ft Bragg California in mid August so am trying to plan my trip to San Fran and Northern CA.

The known:
Need to be in Ft Bragg/ Mendocino area Friday Aug 12th and Sat Aug 13th.
Flying in and out of San Francisco- San Jose- or Oakland
Never been to this part of California before

The Unknown:
Not sure how long I am going to be in the area (will depend on how many things you convince me I must see)
Not sure if I am taking my son or going solo
Lodging- not committed to any place other than two nights in Ft Bragg/ Mendocino

Potential interests to shoot:
Golden Gate Bridge- Sunset/Night/Sunrise
Redwoods North of Ft Bragg
Rocky Coast areas (open to suggestions)

So, what are some must see and must shoot areas?
Oh and I am a bit of a foodie so where are the must eats?

If I was going to Ft Bragg Mendocino I would spend all my time in that area. It is so beautiful and so much to see and shoot. Work your way down the coast from Ft Bragg to San Fran along Hwy 1 . It is late and I will try to give you some more info later.

I agree. There are so many things to see and shoot along Rt1 from Pt Reyes through Mt Tam.
