The first of many to come. We had a great little holiday of course though, as always, it was all over too quickly. We drove for just over 2 hours to get there and it is one of my favourite drives. A very twisty road but the scenery:lust is amazing. Though it's a shame beccause there's nowhere to pull over to take pictures is all so naroow and windy. I had to cross over part of the Great Dividing Range to get there. Well actually I had to come down and across a little from up here where I am on the tablelands. Anyway...I found one place to pull up very quickly over looking the Nymboida River and surrounding farming area.

It was a shock to see green grass again. It has been so dry where I am for so long now the first thing I said was "oh look at the green fields!) As if I had never seen grass before:rofl

As we got closer and it got so very much hotter...There were bushfires everywhere. All contained but the smoke was so awful. For a while my eyes were hurting. Though it did make for nice sunsets...(i'd do anything to mobe those powerlines:bash)

And one last one for now anyway....I was down at the breakwater on our first day in Wooli and I saw all these rocks that had the funkiest patterns, all made naturally. Couldn't go past them, they just looked so great...
