As a happy customer of SmugMug I was wondering if you had any plans to branch out in the UK. I would love to get a pro account and offer people choices to perchance print in GBP from UK suppliers.

I'm holding back as I know 99.999% of anyone that wanted to buy one on my images would only do so if it was in £GBP and delivered from the UK.

I push out my business card with my domain pointed to SmuMug but they only go out to UK residence.

Xray

Man it would be huge bonus to have a UK 'branch' I have managed to set up PayPal on my site but it was a real pig to do and I there are lot's of basic hompage stuff I can't have because it screws up the Paypal.

Please Please please look at a UK printer / buying option (I have had great results with photobox inc A0 prints that are stunning)

It would be a sweet deal if you did offer the option to be hosted on a UK server with GBP and UK printing service. I don't think there is a image hosting company that comes close to the level of professional presentation, level of support and value for money that SmugMug offer's!

But please if you do branch out in to the UK don't do what tends to be the trend with some company's and match US Dollars with Pounds. It really graters me when you see a product released in the US for $300 and the same product released in the UK for £300.

    Regards

    Xray

Andy, On the status message on this page (I can't see a date so I have no idea how long ago it was written) you say "we'll try and give you all an idea of timing as we get closer." Are we talking about a few weeks or a few months, some idea would be helpfull.

TBO I've given up on this and am going to migrate my site in the near future, the orignal posts date back some 2 years. real pain that has cost me mucho in lost sales.

Who to, out of interest? I've recently got a Zenfolio site but I'm not to happy with their level of support, especially on the forums

Going to do my own or rather have some do it for me Laughing.gif, I want a seamless purchase to delivery service which i cannot get with Smugmug, really unfortunate because I like Smug Mug and they have great customer support and in most cases updates on face book. A time line would be something... telling us it is going to happen... tells us nothing really.
