Images not showing up in gallery

This problem has been occurring occasionally the last few weeks, and it has struck again just now- when I log into my gallery, I get this screen.

Clicking on the black boxes where the thumbnail should be, takes me to an 'empty' gallery.

I can't even view my photos, let alone upload new ones!
Ironically the images from my gallery that have been linked to, in other forums, display on those forums correctly even when the problem occurs.

I am using Win 7 x64 with a 10 mbps internet connection (which works perfectly fine) and I've tried with IE9, Opera and Chrome, all with the same results.

Why is this happening? Any solutions?

PS: I am in Singapore, and it is quite late here, so I'll check back in the morning.

Can you try dropping the www in front of your SmugMug nickname address? Try just
http://pentaxsg.smugmug.com

Checking on it in different browsers on my Win7, your site and galleries are working fine here. I'm on a regular DSL connection in Germany.
Try resetting your router / modem by unplugging it for 30 secs and then plugging it back in.

Do you have any other connection you can try it on?

Hi Rainforest,
I tried rebooting the modem, clearing the cache etc, but nothing seems to help.
It's only my Win 7 x64 desktop that's suffering from this issue, regardless of which browser I use.

Interestingly, just now I tried with my XP 32 bit laptop connected to the same network, and it works perfectly!

Is there any javascript, flash player or configuration setting that I need to look into, on the Win 7 desktop, before contacting the helpdesk?

Hi, just a quick update: I cleaned out all the java settings and browser settings using Ccleaner, and rebooted.
Now it works alright on Opera at least; still no luck with chrome or IE9. But since Opera is my main browser, I don't really care about the other 2.

If the problem crops up again and I am unable to fix it, I will contact the helpdesk.

Okay I spoke too soon; can't see the photos in my gallery again, or those in any other smugmug gallery.
Even on Win Xp it doesn't work now.

I will email the helpdesk.

I just experienced this same issue. A gallery had about 100 photos in it. I had just uploaded 8 or 9 new images, manually arranged them and hit save and viola now it shows an empty gallery. It was a gallery I use to post images to a blog, but all the images on the blog are showing fine. Something weird going on smugmug.

im getting this aswell now, just uploaded photos via lightroom all was fine, pictures appeared in gallery and all was working, decided to upload another 7 pictures and suddenly the whole gallery was empty.

So retried uploading through smugmugs own uploader and still no pictures in the gallery?
