I really like the first one! She really has some character. The contrasty B&W treatment certainly brings it out. Composition & expression are great.

The second doesn't do much for me - sorry. I'm sure it's a "moment" at a special event but it doesn't convey much to me who wasn't a part of it.

I like the woman's hands, her smile is happy. To me her hands are tense.
