Barter Books is a second-hand (although they do sell the odd new book) bookshop situated in the old railway station in Alnwick, Northumberland. The place has a terrific atmosphere and you can wander around it for ages, sit down and watch the world go by, or partake of some delicious food in the buffet. (I am not on their payroll honest!).

I was there a couple of days ago and tried to capture the ambiance of the place.

Nice shots. Bookstores like this fascinate me. I could spend all day in one.
