Yosemite Lower Falls in Black and White

I shot this on June 10th, 2011 at 6:23 P.M. fom the main trail head. I used my Nikon D90 at 1 second, f/11, 100 ISO, 90mm focal length with a Hitech 85mm Graduated Neutral Density (ND) 1.2 Resin Filter - Soft Edge that I moved around a bit with my hand as the shot was exposed on my tripod. I used a remote trigger and timer with mirror up delay to minimize shake. Post processed in Lightroom 3.

Another great BW conversion. I prefer a much shorter exposure with all of that powerful water, but that's just me. Great capture, regardless.

Thank you, I shot a few short exposures, but wanted to practice my longer exposures with moving water in the shade.

Hi, I like the composition and processing on this one - has a real 'old world' feel about it - a touch of scepia would just about round it off
