Shopping Cart Issue

i just set-up various galleries for customers on my new smugmug account. each gallery is password protected. however, upon logging out of my smugmug account to test each gallery to see what the customer sees, i am unable to add anything to the shopping cart! it says there is NOTHING to add to the shopping cart when there are obviously photos there that can be purchased. i can't find anything in the settings that could be causing this.
what the heck?

you make a good point. i believe i saw "gallery" pricing, but couldn't figure out how to set prices for it! (only how to set portfolio prices) now i think i am understanding it more and more. i just set gallery prices for a different gallery other than the one in my post above. i'm going to try applying the prices to all the galleries and see what happens. hope this fixes the issue.
Samir, that is not exactly correct. If you do not price an item, it is for sale at the default price or portfolio if it is set. You must set any item you do not want to sell at 0.00 to block it.

I checked out the example gallery (hot! ), and it seems like everything's working now.
But I realize something now after all these years--SM's cart is quirky and non-intuitive. If I click on Buy-->Photos in this Gallery, I have to find the 'Change Product' button to change to a different item type. And if I just click on Buy-->This Photo, the list and scroll box is overwhelming. I can see where this would frustrate over 50% of my potential clients. :cry
I've heard people recommending to reduce the number of items available to purchase, and the number of sales go up. I may just have to try this.
