My site www.turtleriverphotography.com is running very slow on all functions. I've tried making some adjustments with my limited knowledge and no success. Any ideas would be really appreciated. I'd gladly pay a little money if necesary to fix it if someone is willing and able.
Thank you so much

For me, your site is running at least as fast as mine if not faster. (Not that I think mine is fast either, but I certainly wouldn't call it "very slow" either). Your slideshow pops up immediately, galleries open immediately, etc. What I think is not particularly fast (on any SmugMug sites I've seen) is going from photo to photo within a gallery. There's always 1 second (or more if it's unusually slow) of blackness between each photo, unless I've clicked through them all once. So if I go back, there's no black-- I just go directly from one photo to the next. Is it worse than that for you? If so, it could be on your end.
