I am loving 6 and 7 - they are very well defined and detailed. The lighting is perfect too~

I'm liking the polar bear and the angry bird. You caught the action very well in the polar bear shot and managed to get him in the frame under some challenging circumstances: lighting, movement, etc. The bird is perfectly framed and I like the fuzzy chain link fence in the foreground -- it adds to the "angry" stare. IMO, either one would be a fine choice for the challenge.

SOOC, I like 6 best. However, once you got a chance to play with the Polar Bear in Lightroom , I bet this will be the best shot.

I agree with CHANDLERJA about #7. While the cage/fence is more distinct than #6, the straight on look and off-center positioning work really well. An implied emotion of captivity and claustrophobia come through for me.

So it's down to 6, and it is down to 7. ne_nau.gif

I like the clarity of the eyes in 6, wish I'd gotten them sharper in 7. But 7 I think has more emotion to it.

#7 with the expression and details is the one I like best, I also like #3 with the movement of the water and the seal.

I like the crop in #7-good title because he looks angry and kind of scary. #4 is my runner up. GP

    Thanks.

The K-5 only comes in black, unless you spend a buttload of money for the limited edition of silver. I don't have a buttload of money, alas.

Oops - my bad. I was thinking of the K-r. Interesting - the Pentax website doesn't show the multitude of colors that it once had.
