saw this little guy and his brother in a tree while in Japser a couple weeks ago. Very cute little guys, and a lot of fun to watch. Unfortunately it was dusk on an overcast day, so the lighting conditions weren't in my favor.

Haha - that was my first question....where's the mom. Luckily she was just on the ground a little ways away eating some grass. But I was certainly not about to stand in the middle of the mom and cubs.

Wonderful shots. The loooong glass really paid for itself on these. If you'd been as close as it looks at first glance, I'm sure Mama Bear would have taken serious exception.eek7.gif

Thanks everyone. I got really lucky to see these little guys, and luckily it wasn't a big bushy tree. The two guys play faught for at least 30 minutes, it was very cute. I think it was one of the most amazing things I have seen to date in my wildlife photography adventures.

The mom was definately undistribed, and there were a couple other photographers around, and we all know to keep a distance, and to leave the wildlife undistribed. But it being a busy national park, you always have those people that jump out of the car and run towards the animal to get a good picture with their iphone, and it's like they lose all sense (i would call it common sense, but it doesn't seem to be that common). Anyway, that's the end of my rant. But on this particular trip I saw 13 bears, and any that I saw along a main road, you would be suprised the stupid things people do.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
