I really wish that bears didn't hide in shurbs/bushes while I am trying to take pictures of them.

    That's what bears do. You still captured a nice image to be proud of, that's for sure.

    At least the branch was in a position such that if focus locked on it the eyes would still be within DOF ne_nau.gif Nice shooting thumb.gif

    Thank you all for your kind words. I just keep thinking how much nicer the capute would be if the branch was smaller, lower, or not there at all....but I am living in the world of shoulda coulda woulda....and I should just be happy that the picture turned out decent despite the branch. I am hoping to go out next weekend and hopefully I am lucky enough to see a few more. On this particular weekend I saw 13 bears, of which 5 I got decent pictures of.

    I agree with the others you were quite lucky to get both eyes clear of the branches, so they don't disturb the image too much. Nicely done! thumb.gif
