Hey all:
I'm tired of my Canon Powershot screwing up whenever humidity is high. One camera expert recommended the Olympus 7070. Is that the only good choice?
Here are my expectations:
- digital camera for serious amateur
- underwater case available
- ability to set the exposure as well as the Canon
- durability
- reliable in humid weather
- lens and filter swapping/adding
- 7 plus megapixels
Your advice and suggestions are welcomed.

You mentioned lens swapping so we arrive at DSLR's. These cameras are NOT designed to get moisture inside them period. You will quickly have a $2k paper weight.

There is only one answer that i can see & that is a water proof case that the surf photogs use if you want a DSLR ...these things are huge & expensive or if you wanted to stay with a point & shoot then there are a lot of water proof cases on the market for $150-$300.
