It has been very slow around here lately. I did manage to get a few shots though.

1. Great Blue Heron lurking in the creek.

2. Tricolored Heron foraging.

3. Red Headed Woodpecker with insect.

4. This Common Loon got sent to rehab for hanging out in one of our local fountains.

5. This Red-shouldered Hawk has been keeping an eye on my bird feeder. Haven't been as many squirrels lately.

That's a nice neighborhood. I live in a concrete jungle, and the only thing I see is pigeons. Hahaha. Beautiful set!

Thanks! Well if you have pigeons you most likely have peregrine falcons too!

My egret is actually a blue heron. I used a bit too much bleach when I tried to rinse him! rolleyes1.gif

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks Ric! The white morph GBH was a new bird for me otherwise I would have passed on this shot because of the harsh light.
