Canadian Thanksgiving

This is thanksgiving weekend up here in Canada. I was out looking for fall colour and saw these guys at the edge of a field. :eat

Not great pics - these were before I even tried to get close, then they took off for the woods like somebody said "cranberry sauce" :D

    Yes, they're wild turkeys (kinda hard to tell from the pics). Ontario had a program starting some 20 years ago to reintroduce them (hunted out I guess)


    I'm more of a goose fan :D , but I'll be having a store turkey this year.

    Birds are good at running,flying away. They have no sympathy for us photographers.
