Canon EOS 60D kit for $1,099.
I just bought a brand spanking new Canon EOS 60D today. Got is from Sams Club at the low low price of $1,099 with kit. In store only.
Came with the usuals. Camera body, 18-135mm kit lens, strap, manuals, cables, charger, battery. I can say that so far this camera has been great!
It was a toss up between this one and the Nikon D7000. The D7000 is a great camera but the buffer size and the lack of a vari-angle LCD kind of helped me in my decision. I can shoot this cannon on high speed continuous FOREVER!
Its hefty in the hand and it fit my hands better than the Nikon (I have large Hands).
I must say that I am very pleased with it as a huge upgrade to the Sony A230. The kit lens that comes with the Canon is actually pretty good as far as kit lenses go. I also LOVE Canon lenses.
