As the title states, anyone have or recommend books for getting a photography business started? I've search but no luck as of late.

I have read the marketing and self promotion book Andy linked to, it was good. I also enjoyed portions of the book "Focus on Profit" by Tom Zimberoff. It had some really good info too. Don't care for the software it talks about, but the other stuff is good. And of course the "pricing photography" book Andy linked to is good too.

Hello Everyone...I'm a newbie here and you all seem like a lot of nice people so I look forward to getting to know you all! :)

A great business start up book (not necessarily just photo) is the Emyth! I'd highly recommend it for anyone starting any business.

    Cheers,
