Our 13 week old fuzzball (he's a Bearded Collie - yup, they come in brown!). Shooting a puppy SOOC is a... uh... interesting experience. To say the least, they don't hold still!!!

Not a viable entry since it's a rubbish picture, but this is how he gets so wet... Despite barking at the hose like it's an arch-nemesis, he will then turn it over with his paws so it fountains out of the water and he can dunk his head in it!

    Numero two!

That's Spanish for number two. I didn't want you to have to hit Google translate or anything.

Thanks all. Oh, and Mark. I was wondering about that. Ta ever so. :lol rolleyes1.gif

There are, of course, many possibilities for re-shoots - I wish the light had been a little less flat as well as that I'd managed to compose it better (cf comment about perpetual motion. It is really REALLY hard to get a good comp when the subject has an attention span of a milisecond lol3.gif) But given it has been FOREVER since I've done a challenge and I'm taking a lot of Puppy Pictures just now... Well, yeah. You get my drift :D

The first one is gorgeous (for me). #2 is very nice too, but the first one looks like a painting :)

I like #2 for this challenge, but I also thought #1 looked like a painting! GP

    Poor little wet doggy! :D

I really like #1. The colors and dof are great plus the expression is priceless. Nice!

The expression in #2 is better but the colors seem off to me.

I lean toward #1 for the colors, texture, and more unusual "face" but would like that we can see the eyes better in #2, etc. I'm sure you know what you want to do if the puppy stands still for 2 seconds at a time, but thought I would let you know that I was also drawn to #1 more than #2.

Cooper is still a cute guy. I like #2 better as the eyes are a little more expressive for me.

Boo. Didn't have a chance to reshoot, and there are so many super pet photos I think this one won't quite cut it. Next time!
