Oooohhh, ten is so pretty! Love the architecture, the romance, and the night lighting.

I like all the rest except for one. It looks too OOF for my taste. Wonderful captures, as always!

hmmm... that one gets chalked up to a long day of editing! Not sure how I missed that. You are right though. Not even her hair is in good focus. I have a bunch more similar but I liked the comp with the hairspray. Oh well! They can't all be gold!

Thanks. I like it too but I should have done a few things differently. The client will be happy with this though, and I'm sure I will have a few more keepers from that location. That was just the easiest one to work up for their preview.

I'm liking this series, a great variety but it is the last one that I really like.

I'm here to learn so please feel free to give me constructive criticism to help me become the photographer I desire to be.

    2 4 7 for me. I like quirky shots like 2.
You caught the personality of the wedding. Nice shots.
For me focus is greatly overrated at weddings, emotions and action are what matter....yeah focus is nice but not essential.

Thanks guys! Focus is nice, but I like Z's take on it for now!! That being said if that didn't slip past me you guys wouldn't be talking about that one! ha! 4 is one of my favorite shots from the day although technically a near-miss. In that shot I did what I almost always want to do (*edit* but rarely accomplish) and that is to catch an emotional moment and then compliment that with other elements that tell a story. The first few in that series were of them kissing. Literally they got down the isle and he immediately started kissing her. Not for the camera and not for the crowd. It was pure and he just couldn't wait to kiss his new wife. I got those shots but then it occurred to me to tell the story and by recomposing to get the best men and the maid of honor half way up the isle did that. Granted they were done kissing at that point and he is actually at about half-smile, but nonetheless it is an emotional moment and if I could get one like that at each wedding I would be a very happy guy. Not trying to pat myself on the back, but want people to see that one from my perspective. If they were still kissing at that point or if I had thought of all this a second sooner, it would be a port shot for sure. As it is it will likely be cherished by the b&g because it will always remind them of their passion for one another.

Am I getting older, or are these brides getting younger?

Nice stuff, with some fresh ideas. That last one is a real winner!

Great emotion in these! I think #3 would be better as a black and white because of the mixed lighting sources - there's a bit of green in her where there need not be.
