This was originally a handheld thru the windshield while moving through a tunnel in Arkansas shot... :rofl - needless to say it wasn't a keeper in it's current state.. so i thought i'd tinker with it and kind of liked the end result.
So, tell us how you did it. Obvs in PS, but what tools?
Hi Sorin - well, it consisted of 4 layers and 3 filters applied in PSE. Here is the original shot:
First i did a level adjustment to set the black point, then applied a USM and an additional gradient layer with 'linear color burn'.
After that i applied a 'swirl' then a small 'ripple' filter, then i did some healing / clone brush to get rid of excess around the edges to clean it up a bit. Then lastly, i applied a 'lens flare' and made the angle such as the center point lined up in the middle.
I hope that helps, tell the truth.. i may have forgotten a few tweaks here and there to get the desired result.. but for the most part that's it.
