Now these both look like b/w but I am loving your conversion. You can see so much detail without focusing on the colors. Nice work

Thanks schmoo, I haven't settled on which I like better. The color is almost monochrome anyway and I do like the ribbons of color running through the lighter colored rocks. The B&W conversion almost seems redundant. But it does emphasize forms and shapes.
