Nesting Mom
This is the female Grey Catbird on her nest. Notice her bright rufous undertail coverts. I mentioned this nest in a previous post. Apparently the female does all the nest sitting, though the male stays around and brings food. She is quite tolerant of my presence, but I tried not to bother her too much. I used my 28-300 zoomed to 300 with a 12mm extension tube. Also used my macro flash setup. 1/320 sec @ f/11 ISO 400 D700.
Here are the four chicks :lust. This was shot with the Tamron 90mm.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
