Not too bad for a photo taken with phone...

Took this shot while we played hookie from work on Tuesday and went for a lazy day at the beach. The haze had not burnt off yet so the light was not too bad. I did a little noise reduction in LR3 but that's about all. Well, I also converted to B&W.

I think it looks like an ad for a vacation destination.

    It is gorgeous.

I know you didn't plan this shot, but it's too bad the people and clutter are in the background, otherwise it would be stellar.

And dare I say, she has incredibly beautiful skin and curves. :D

Thanks all. I don't take very many pics with my phone but I was laying there looking at her and thinking how beautiful she looked so I decided to snap a shot. Thing is, I couldn't really see how it turned out because it was so bright out and there was too much glare on the screen. I completely forgot about the shot until today. Checked it out and was really impressed. For those wondering. I used my HTC Inspire 4G. It has an 8MP camera. I had to use the NR tool in LR because the shadows were a bit noisy but overall, not bad. Grabs decent video too.

I can see a thread in the Flea Market now:

    For trade:
Nikon D-3s for a Inspire Cell Phone or similar. rolleyes1.gif

Does prove a point though...you either have an eye for this or ya don't!

    Really nice.

great shot. only nit pick - maybe try to get rid of the running person in the top left corner. Don't think too many people were looking up that far though ;-)

HTC Inspire 4g. I believe it's the same as the HTC Desire.

The B&W conversion adds to the beauty.

I have a new HTC Thunderbolt with an awesome camera. I can't believe how far the cell phone camera has come!

    Very lovely image!

My first digital camera was a 3.2 MP Nikon Coolpix that at the time was around $800. Now you can get a 8 MP camera phone for a fraction of that price plus have web, twitter, FB, and all that other stuff on it. Technology is awesome.

    Oh and nice shot. :D
