I have the opportunity to exhibit one picture of my choice in a gallery and it must be 20cm / 20cm (7,87 inches / 7,87 inches).
Can I have critics about these options, if you please ? :D Which do you like the most ? If any... :scratch
Thank you :bow
The first is the image I like the most. In spite of the blue canvas :rolleyes

    I'm going with # 1. Nicely done.

I always wanted to lie naked on a bearskin rug in front of a fireplace. Cracker Barrel didn't take kindly to it.

It must be some sort of optical illusion, but the subject seems
much clearer in #1 than in #2. Perhaps the eye, seeing the blue
background, is more aware of the blue in the subject.

Is it exactly the same image in each?

The gestalt of the figure blobs is stronger in #1. Better.

As well, the blue is a Greek blue, and gives it an aura of Mediterranean mythology. Nice

I like both versions. The brighter tone, stronger contrast and tighter crop in #1 make the features more prominent. The flip side of that is that you could say that #2 is more subtle. It's entirely up to you which is preferable.

Not sure I understand the framing you are showing. Does the size limitation apply to the pic only or the entire framed work? If it includes matting, then I would definitely choose #1, though I would use white, not blue.

    Hi Antonio :D

Congrats on getting to exhibit a photo thumb.gif

Oh my ... both are good. Really I think your final choice does come to what you want the 'eye' to see. If you want a person to have to look closely to your photo to see what their seeing .. then I'd go with the second posted photo. That one you need to look closer to see the blue outline of the child. The one with the blue background makes the child visually easier to see right away.

    Great work thumb.gifthumbthumb.gif

Agree that #1 is the stronger of the 2 :D

Thank you all for the kind words. :D

In fact the two images of the angel are different. One has more brightness than the other.
@ Webster - The one on he left is the best under my point of view.
@ Richard - The size 20 cm/ 20cm is for the hole frame with canvas. Anyway that is my decisition and I think the image is better with canvas whichever colour is chosen.
I am not very fund of the white version in spite of having tried it :)
