Not thrilled with either of my previous entries into the challenge, thought I'd play around a little bit with texture-- have a fecund rose bush and some driftwood in my backyard, and thought I'd retread some Ansel--

Let me know if any of these is any better than polar bear swimming. :dunno

Thanks for looking.

I think I am leaning towards the first one. Seems to have the most balance to me.

I thinks #5 is my favorite - the rose almost feels like a hairdo on a head facing away from us, perched atop a short, stocky body.

I think I'm going to try to reshoot-- I have the idea, now I just need to execute.

Another vote for #1. Wonder how it would look pulled back a bit to show some of the surroundings? I still do like the bear though. Not sure which I like better.

#1 is the most interesting, texture-wise. But I still like the polar bear you currently have entered.

Nice images, but I would stay with the bear thumb.gif

While I like these, I also prefer the polar bear...

I like these better than your current entry. The rest of the frame is a bit busy in your entry. And the focus seems a bit soft.

Maybe try it at the edge of a lake or stream on sand or rock.
