Looking for a relatively cheap setup to take pics of 35mm slides with my Canon eos digital rebel xt. I have the kit lens (18-35mm zoom) and the cheapo 50mm f1.8. Any advice or links to get advice would be greatly appreciated.

thanx

Just curious if you just want to turn your 35mm negatives & slides into digital images/files? I purchased a (relatively) inexpensive Minolta dedicated film scanner. The Dimage Scan Dual IV seems to be a pretty decent unit for converting your slides/negatives to digital. It "usually" receives praise and positive reviews. There are many better units...but they are also much more expensive. It might be cheaper than a copy stand and appropriate lens. I'd think it would give better results also. ? ne_nau.gif

    slide copier
you could also get a slide copier-which is like a little bellows unit/stand that attaches to the front of your camera and holds the slide at the right length so that you can shoot a copy-they are quite cheap secondhand-or you could send them off top be scanned would be cheaper than buying a scanner

    Looking for that bellows thing.
Sounds like I'll try that cheap bellows thing if I can find one.
