Kate, I think #1 & #2 are the best, probably in that order. #3 seems like it would need to be cropped for more of a landscape shot with the eyes and expression.

Is this shot of the baby better? Are any of these good enough for the challenge?

this might be picking nits, but I'm drawn to the reflection of the light in the eyes. Also, maybe a shot with a smile?? ne_nau.gif

I agree that #1 is probably your best bet for this challenge. I am drawn to the eyes of the baby but don't think it is a strong entry SOOC (with either shot). Hope that helps!

Uncle Tony gets my vote. Nice shot! The baby is sweet and the musician is cool, but I think Uncle Tony is the best.

I really like #2, followed by #1. The baby shots aren't doing much for me.

Really like the expression & focus in #1 & although I really like #2, I like the focus better in #1.

nice. I like UT but for me the guy in the bg on the cellphone is too prominent.
My personal fav is the original frame of the baby. I like the balance, except for the writing on the bib, which throws it off a hair.

Looks like you went back to the flower shot. Love that one too. Looking back at your uncle shot vs the flowers I think you made the right choice. It seems to be a stronger image even though both are good.
