Workshops in October

Hey Grinners,
I'm sad to not be able to make Marc's 13-day African extravaganza, but I wanted to treat myself to a nice, 5-7 day workshop in October, as I plan to take that month off. I have perused the Santa Fe and Maine workshop websites, but not very much appeals to me in October and I've lost interest in things like artificial lighting and macro. I want to try to concentrate on the photographing and less on the photoshopping, as a lot of landscape workshops seem to emphasize.
A 5-day Muench trip would have been just the ticket, but I'll have to look elsewhere this time. My real fantasy was to take the Jay Maisel workshop in NYC, but the dates aren't convenient and the money is a real commitment, but I'm drawn by the no-nonsense approach. Plus, I like photographing people.
Any ideas?
