I heard some drumming and thought that a band might be setting up somewhere, but what I found was just a guy with some plastic paint tubs, pots and pans and a few tiny cymbals.

As you can see, the kids loved it. Some of the sounds were exceptionally good. I suppose it's the musical equivalent of shooting with a Holga.

    Hi Richard,
while I love the joy you captured on the kids faces is the expression of the drummer himself that I"m drawn to. He seems to be having as much fun if not more fun than the kids. What wonderful interaction you captured. Look his email is on the bucket, maybe you can send him a copy.

EDIT--your last shot cracks me up with the little girl front and center with her hands on her hips. You will never find an adult "all in your face" like that--but kids are different. Again, love the series.

It's not the weapon, it's the warrior.

It's not the camera, it's the vision.

It's not in the drums, it's in the drummer.

Excellent set with the interchange between the drummer and the children. All are well done.

San Francisco has a "Bucketman" (I think he calls himself "Bucketman"eek7.gif). I also like that your Dr. Bucketman is wearing a Chinese "Coca Cola" t-shirt.

Hey, thanks Tony and thanks for the link. There are several other video links given at the end, too. I thought he was good but I didn't know he was famous. lol3.gif
