Babbling Brook

This is the small river Brock, running through the countryside just on the outskirts of Preston close to Beacon Fell. It's a lovely place to walk - dippers and wagtails on the waters edge (didn't have a chance to nail them!) - and frequented by folks walking their dogs, school education outings, and the occasional photographer (who is hopeless at landscapes)...

Anyway, this is the best I managed.

Incidentally, I got my feet wet getting this one.

I'd say this was worth damp socks. Nicely composed. The shutter speed on moving water is all a matter of taste. For mine it's nice as is. It doesn't look like you used a polarizer and may have benefited slightly by eliminating that glare on the rocks. Lovely looking spot
