Slideshow suddenly not loading

I'm using Internet Explorer v9.0 on Windows 7 as well as Google Chrome and Firefox all with the same issue.
The question is:
Just yesterday I noticed when launching my Smugmug website the opening slideshow is not loading. I just see the "spinning wheel" icon in both browsers. In Chrome I noticed at the bottom left a window showing waiting for "ajax.googleapis.com" or "carllicari.com", my website. Any ideas why this is an issue suddenly? Zoho Design is my website builder.
Thanks,
Carl Licari

    Hi Carl,

I've looked at your site, and there's some very advanced customizations there. I think I found the slideshow code, but it's a custom bit of code that looks like has been created by your website designer. It looks like the source feed for the homepage slideshow looks ok, but it's possible there could be some coding error, or possibly an error in how the code is working, if it's pulling over anything from Google's API. Due to the complexity of the code you have added to your site, I'm hesitant to mess with it too much. You might direct this question to Zoho Design if they have helped you create this site, and they may be able better to help you troubleshoot the source of the problem.

Thanks for checking it. I forwarded your response to Zoho Design.

That looks like the fastline slideshow and if my memory serves me correctly, the early versions of that slideshow used feeds through Google, but the later versions get the slideshow data from Smugmug directly. Here's the thread on dgrin where people ask/answer questions about the Fastline slideshow. I'd suggest asking there - it may be that you need a more up-to-date version of that slideshow.

It seems to be working fine now. There were lots of reports of slideshows not working this morning around the time you posted. Since nobody went in and mucked with all of your code at the same time, we can only assume that Smugmug must have had a temporary site issue this morning that affected slideshow (probably because the SM API wasn't operating properly) and the issue has since been fixed or resolved itself.
